Watchers 3 Review

For thus has the Lord said to me: “Go, set a watchman, Let him declare what he sees.” (Isaiah 21:6)

In viewing the Watchers3 DVD, a documentary, I was totally inspired by the author’s perspective regarding the rapid global events taking place .

I was reminded of the scriptures relative to the watchman on the wall (a person who stands and watches or guards people, property, or events and sounds the alarm of wrongdoing).

Morally, we are accountable for our actions or failure of our actions if we see something amiss and do not take the necessary steps to immediately correct it.  God will hold us accountable if we see a wrong and fail to warn or correct it:

  • But if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet, and the people are not warned, and the sword comes and takes any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood I will require at the watchman’s hand.’  (Ezekiel 33:6)

The Watchers 3 author, LA Marzulli of the Nephilim trilogy series, has taken the watchman on the wall responsibility seriously and “reports” what he sees are events that require further scrutiny and/or clarification.

He explores, probes, scrutinizes events, interviews experts, professors and doctors.

He investigates the possibility of the supernatural phenomena and its impact on:

  • changes in celestial patterns depicting two suns and the shifting of the moon;

    Shroud of Turin

  • the turbulent turmoil in the middle eastern nations called the Arab Spring;
  • questions the scientific authenticity of the findings of the Shroud of Turin with Barrie Schwortz, original photographer of the Shroud.
  • interviews leading rabbis in the mystery of the Torah Codes;
  • interviews Dr. Roger Liery who professes to have removed microchip alien implants;
  • reviews the Hopi Indian prophecies with author, Stan Deyo, “Due to tectonic activity, ‘I think what’s going to happen is we’re going to have a catastrophic break up of the West Coast,’ that will lead to the flooding of Hopi mesas in the Southwest’;
  • examines the strange sights and sounds being heard around the world.

The 70 minute DVD video is packed with experts in the fields of  science, partical physics, and biblical theology.

It is well worth your effort to educate yourself on this very real phenomena.

The Torah Bible Codes

A Sefer Torah, the traditional form of the Hebrew Bible, is a scroll of parchment. (Photo credit: Wikipedia)

“The secret things belong to the LORD our God, but those things which are revealed belong to us and to our children forever, that we may do all the words of this law.  (Deuteronomy 29:29)

As a newbie in Christ about 18 yrs ago, I was massively curious and thirsty for the word, for what Christ was doing in using the common man to show His will, what He was doing to effect our day.

I came across a  tv program about Bible Codes and a book published in 1997 by Michael Drosnin  explaining the theory of ELS (Equidistant Letter Sequence) hidden messages found in the Torah (the first five books of the Bible).

I wondered if it was at all possible that God really did embed secret messages inside the bible but would have to wait until man could understand how to unravel its principles or even reveal warnings of events to happen including the assassinations of  US President John F. Kennedy in November 22, 1963, and Israeli Prime Minister  Yitzhak Rabin in November 4, 1995

It’s well worth your effort to buy it and learn from his understanding and applying the principle of using ELS to unlock the secrets hidden in the Torah.

“The Bible code (Hebrew: צפנים בתנ”ך‎), also known as the Torah code, is a purported set of secret messages encoded within the text Hebrew Bible and describing prophesies and other guidance regarding the future. This hidden code has been described as a method by which specific letters from the text can be selected to reveal an otherwise obscured message. Though Bible codes have been postulated and studied for centuries, the subject has been popularized in modern times by Michael Drosnin’s book The Bible Code. ”   (source:  Bible Code – Wikipedia.org)

  Encounters with the Unexplained – Secrets of the Bible Code Ep 2

The Torah ( “Instruction”, “Teaching”) is the Jewish name for the first five books of the Jewish Bible.  In Hebrew the five books are named by the first phrase in the text:

  • Bereshit (“In the beginning,” Book of Genesis),
  • Shemot (“Names,” Exodus),
  • Vayikra (“He called”, Leviticus),
  • Bamidbar (“In the desert,” Numbers) and
  • Devarim (“Words,” Deuteronomy).

In rabbinic literature the word Torah denotes both these five books, Torah Shebichtav (תורה שבכתב, “Torah that is written”), and an Oral Torah, Torah Shebe’al Peh (תורה שבעל פה, “Torah that is spoken”).

The Oral Torah consists of the traditional interpretations and amplifications handed down by word of mouth from generation to generation and now embodied in the Talmud (תַּלְמוּד) and Midrash (מדרש‎) . (source:  Wikipedia)

The Torah is so precise and specific, that everyone is to own a Sefer Torah,  with its method of preparation, the size of the scroll and margin, its verses, including the name of God.  From sewing the sheets together, including  its appurtenances (attachments), the Breastplate   (suspended by a chain from the top of the rollers is the breastplate, to which,  in the case of the crowns, little bells are attached. Lions, eagles, flags, and the Magen Dawid either chased or embossed, or painted, are the principal decorations), its  history and  personal copies of the Torah can be reviewed and studied further in detail in the Jewish Encyclopedia.

God didn’t limit revealing Himself, His Word, or His will by only reading the bible.  He reveals Himself through dreams and visions by and through the Holy Spirit:

  • Then You scare me with dreams And terrify me with visions (Job 7:14)
  • As for these four young men, God gave them knowledge and skill in all literature and wisdom; and Daniel had understanding in all visions and dreams. (Daniel 1:17)
  • “And it shall come to pass afterward That I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your old men shall dream dreams, Your young men shall see visions. (Joel 2:28; Acts 2:17)

God will also use His angels to deliver messages:

  • Then the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. (Luke 1:30)
  • When the morning dawned, the angels urged Lot to hurry, saying, “Arise, take your wife and your two daughters who are here, lest you be consumed in the punishment of the city.” (Genesis 19:15)
  • And the Angel of the LORD appeared to him, and said to him, “The LORD is with you, you mighty man of valor!” (Judges 6:12)

God doesn’t spare anyone from being His “voice” known as His prophets:

  • So the LORD said to Moses: “See, I have made you as God to Pharaoh, and Aaron your brother shall be your prophet. (Exodus 7:1)
  • Now therefore, restore the man’s wife; for he is a prophet, and he will pray for you and you shall live. But if you do not restore her, know that you shall surely die, you and all who are yours.” (Genesis 20:7)
  • When they came there to the hill, there was a group of prophets to meet him; then the Spirit of God came upon him, and he prophesied among them. (1 Samuel 10:10)

Prophets of old are used as examples; however, we do have modern day prophets.  Below is an audio link of a discussion by a Pastor from Gallipolis, Ohio who received a dream December 28, 2011, involving America:

Here is a link to the written post “Important Prophecy for America“.

I, personally, do not own the computer software that is used for exploring codes in the Torah.  I did take an interest in the process and I don’t discourage anyone else from trying it, I just discovered that if I ask the God of all wisdom directly in prayer the “What is?” He will answer me.  This establishes a deeper relationship in Him and an even deeper trust in Him.

Fascinating doesn’t even begin to describe the mysteries and their revelations by God Almighty.

Jesus Christ: Guilty

Jesus Christ was innocent of sin.  However, He was guilty under many offenses as shown below:
Jesus Christ is guilty because He laid down His life on the Cross, so that He could take it up again for you and I and clear us of our crime and guilt of  sin:
  • As the Father knows Me, even so I know the Father; and I lay down My life for the sheep. (John 10:15)
  • “Therefore My Father loves Me, because I lay down My life that I may take it again. (John 10:17)
  • Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends. (John 15:13)
  • He by no means clears the guilty…(Numbers 14:18)

He is guilty of loving us so much so that we should not perish but have everlasting life:

  • 16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
Q.  What is “guilty?”
A.  Guilty is an adjective meaning accepting and confessing responsibility for committing an “offense” or really we could use it this way:  She was guilty of smiling at her beloved which is really not offensive but rather an “act of behavior displaying love.” It is this act of behavior that I refer to when I say Jesus Christ is guilty of a specific behavior on His creation, man.
Q.  What does “caring” mean:
A.  Used as a verb caring means:
  • to be concerned or solicitous; have thought or regard.
  • to be concerned or have a special preference (usually used in negative constructions): I don’t care if I do.
  • to have an inclination, liking, fondness, or affection (usually followed by for ): Would you care for dessert?

Love, caring, and guilt, are driven by an emotion, sometimes very powerful, or quite passive:

  • An affective state of consciousness in which joy, sorrow, fear, hate, or the like, is experienced.
  • Any of the feelings of joy, sorrow, fear, hate, love, etc.
  • Any strong agitation of the feelings actuated by experiencing love, hate, fear, etc., and usually accompanied by certain physiological changes, as increased heartbeat or respiration, and often overt manifestation, as crying or shaking.
  • Something that causes such a reaction: the powerful emotion of a great symphony.
Jesus Christ is guilty of being driven to save that which God had created because of the power of His Word which shall not return void (empty) but accomplish that which He spoke:
  • So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it. (Isaiah 55:11)
Jesus Christ is guilty because He is the image of Father God, and we, being His children have been created in His image:
  • Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; (Genesis 1:26)
Jesus Christ is guilty of having dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.
Because we are created in His image, then He has primary dominion and we follow in His image doing the same over all the earth…it’s our inheritance–His rights are our rights:
  • let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” (Genesis 1:26)
The scales of justice in the eyes of God are not in our favor because we have all sinned and have fallen short of God’s glory:
  • for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23)
Jesus Christ is guilty of purging our sins:
  • who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high (Hebrews 1:3)
I could go on and on with scripture after scripture as evidence that He died for our sins, so that we could have everlasting life–He did!
He is guilty as shown by His actions towards us, His children, His chosen, His creation.
For we glory in His presence, the actions of  His love, His salvation, so that we can live with Him through eternity in Heaven:
  • Yes, they shall sing of the ways of the LORD, For great is the glory of the LORD. (Psalm 138:5)

It Is Finished!

For generations there has been a fierce spiritual battle for man’s soul (the battle of good vs evil).

Jesus Christ At The Cross by Bloch

Jesus Christ At The Cross by Bloch

Jesus Christ was sent from Heaven by Father God, to redeem, to restore man back to its rightful position with Father God.  In so doing, Jesus Christ went to the Cross for our salvation:

  • 28 After this, Jesus, knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the Scripture might be fulfilled, said, “I thirst!”
  • 29 Now a vessel full of sour wine was sitting there; and they filled a sponge with sour wine, put it on hyssop, and put it to His mouth.
  • 30 So when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, “It is finished!” And bowing His head, He gave up His spirit. (John 19:28-30)

From the moment Jesus said “It is finished!” a series of events take place:

His body is no longer in the tomb.  How?

He, Jesus, left evidence of His return:

  • Then Simon Peter came, following him, and went into the tomb; and he saw the linen cloths lying there,
  • and the handkerchief that had been around His head, not lying with the linen cloths, but folded together in a place by itself.

Leaving the handkerchief that had been around His head, laying folded together in a place by itself, is  a long standing Jewish  tradition signifying the return of an individual.

Jesus then appears first to Mary Magdalene then to the disciples:

  • 16 Jesus said to her, “Mary!” She turned and said to Him,“Rabboni!” (which is to say, Teacher).
  • 17 Jesus said to her, “Do not cling to Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father; but go to My brethren and say to them, ‘I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.’” (John 20:16-17)
  • 19 Then, the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled,  for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in the midst, and said to them, “Peace be with you.”
  • 20 When He had said this, He showed them His hands and His side. Then the disciples were glad when they saw the Lord. (John 20:19-20)

Jesus breathes on the disciples enacting the Holy Spirit and teaching forgiveness:

  • 21 So Jesus said to them again, “Peace to you! As the Father has sent Me, I also send you.”
  • 22 And when He had said this, He breathed on them, and said to them, “Receive the Holy Spirit.
  • 23 If you forgive the sins of any, they are forgiven them; if you retain the sins of any, they are retained.” (John 20:21-23)

Scriptures are fulfilled so that we can believe that we have life in His name, and that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God:

  • 31 but these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in His name. (John 20:31)

Jesus provides restoration as evidenced by restoring Peter, who had denied Jesus three times, by asking him three times, “Peter do you love me?” and then charging Peter to “feed my sheep” (John 21:17)

The bible has story after story, after story of  hundreds of miracles that Jesus created, healed the sick, the lame walked, turning water into wine, raised the dead, and teaching scriptural principles (farming-agricultural, financial economics, virtues of honor, faith, love, loyalty).

Remember, Jesus had already breathed the Holy Spirit into the disciples, now they needed to be baptized with the Holy Spirit and receive the power of the Holy Spirit:

  • And being assembled together with them, He commanded them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for the Promise of the Father, “which,” He said, “you have heard from Me;
  • for John truly baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now.”
  • Therefore, when they had come together, they asked Him, saying, “Lord, will You at this time restore the kingdom to Israel?”
  • And He said to them, “It is not for you to know times or seasons which the Father has put in His own authority.
  •  But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”

Because It Is Finished:

  • He won the victory of good vs evil;
  • He took man’s sin sacrificing himself in order to save mankind by restoring us back to a righteous position with Father God;
  • He gave us the authority of His name;
  • the Power of His sinless blood;
  • His directs His angels to protect us;
  • He sets us free from bondage;
  • He has healed us from all manner of disease;
  • He conquered sorrow–no more tears;
  • He gives eternal life to anyone, free, by just accepting Him as the Son of God, and now our Messiah, Our God;
  • For Salvation Prayer, you must be born again, spiritually.

It Is Finished

by John Starnes

The last enemy has been destroyed: Death

  • 23 But each one in his own order: Christ the firstfruits, afterward those who are Christ’s at His coming.
  • 24 Then comes the end, when He delivers the kingdom to God the Father, when He puts an end to all rule and all authority and power.
  • 25 For He must reign till He has put all enemies under His feet.
  •  26 The last enemy that will be destroyed is death.
  • 27 For “He has put all things under His feet.” But when He says “all things are put under Him,it is evident that He who put all things under Him is excepted.
  • 28 Now when all things are made subject to Him, then the Son Himself will also be subject to Him who put all things under Him, that God may be all in all. (1 Corinthians 15:23-28)
  • 57 But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. (1 Corinthians 15:57)
