Trumpets: Strange Sounds In The Sky?

  • And when the blast of the trumpet sounded long and became louder and louder, Moses spoke, and God answered him by voice. (Exodus 19:19)

While watching videos from around the world, dated 2011-2012, and as recently as a few days ago, February 2013, comments of strange sounds in the sky were reported.  I thought about the trumpets that were written in the Christian Holy Bible from Exodus through the Book of Revelation.

These sounds were heard globally from the United Kingdom to Holland, from South America to North America from Queensland, Australia to Badajoz, Spain from Bucharest to Canada from Istanbul, Turkey to Scotland and from Denmark to Kiev, Russia.

Some people point to the technology of HAARP, to acoustics in music or to the coming Armageddon.

Some scientists even weighed in with their evidence by taking their physical instruments to measure the vibrations of these sounds taken from the various videos stating it was a natural shift in the earth’s inner core affecting the atmospheric pressure.

When I first heard the sound in one video, I could only find it as a sound like “a ship scraping against heavy metal.”  I am not musically talented enough to show it otherwise.

I scanned the New King James Bible to check the scriptures on whom, when, why, where trumpets were being used by the Israelis as they journeyed to their destiny:

In Leviticus 23:23 thru 25:9, the Lord ordered the blowing of trumpets now known as the Feast of Trumpets, and in Psalm 81:3, blowing the trumpets at the appearance of the New and Full Moons:

In Numbers 10:2 and Numbers 10:8 Trumpets were for the calling or gathering of the congregation and for directing camp movements and in Numbers 10:8 the Lord ordained the sons of Aaron, the priests to blow the trumps forever throughout the generations.

In Numbers 10:9, 2 Chronicles 13:12, Jeremiah 4:19; 6:17 and Ezekiel 7:14, Trumpets were used to sound the alarm for war, the going to battle, with remembrance that the Lord God will save the Israelis from their enemies as well as a warning not to fight against the Lord God for doing so will stop  prosperity.

  • Now look, God Himself is with us as our head, and His priests with sounding trumpets to sound the alarm against you. O children of Israel, do not fight against the Lord God of your fathers, for you shall not prosper!” (2 Chronicles 13:12)

Trumpets as a Memorial to the Lord God:

  • Also in the day of your gladness, in your appointed feasts, and at the beginning of your months, you shall blow the trumpets over your burnt offerings and over the sacrifices of your peace offerings; and they shall be a memorial for you before your God: I am the Lord your God.” (Numbers 10:10)

Trumpets as a Holy Convocation:

Trumpets were used as a Holy Convocation on the seventh month, on the first day of the month without the usual customary work. The Lord declared it as a day of blowing the trumpets.

As a Call to Battle:

In the Book of Joshua, chapter 6 versus 4, 5, 6 and 20, we see the blowing of seven trumpets made of rams’ horns circling the walls of Jericho for seven days led by the priests carrying the Ark of the Covenant.  Then at the long blast of the ram’s horn and the sound of trumpets the people shouted in one great shout and the walls of Jericho supernaturally came down, causing Joshua and his men to overtake the city in victory.

In the Book of Judges, chapters 3,6, and 7, Gideon lead the children of Israel into battle.  In this book, the distinct battle sound of the trumpets shows that they blew the trumpets while holding pitchers.  These pitchers broke when they hit a specific high pitch, or vibrating notes, causing the pitchers to shatter.  Imagine 100 Israelis blowing trumpets holding these pitchers, simultaneously crying “The sword of the Lord and of Gideon!”

  • Wherever you hear the sound of the trumpet, rally to us there. Our God will fight for us.” (Nehemiah 4:20)

As a Musical Instrument Onto the Lord:

The trumpets were not restricted to the sound of battle.  They were used as musical instruments onto the Lord.  King David with the sound of trumpets brought up the ark of the Lord and all Israel played music before God with all their might, with singing on harps, on stringed instruments, on tambourines, on cymbals and with trumpets (2 Samuel 6:15; 1 Chronicles 13:8).

Benaiah and Jahaziel, the priests, regularly blew the trumpets before the Ark of the Covenant of  God. (1 Chronicles 16:6) and the Levites who were the singers, all those of Asaph and Heman and Jeduthun, with their sons and their brethren, stood at the east end of the altar, clothed in white linen, having cymbals, stringed instruments and harps, and with them one hundred and twenty priests sounding with trumpets (2 Chronicles 5:12)

  • indeed it came to pass, when the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the Lord, and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of music, and praised the Lord, saying:“For He is good, For His mercy endures forever,” that the house, the house of the Lord, was filled with a cloud, (2 Chronicles 5:13)

Trumpets in Building the House of the Lord:

When the builders laid the foundation of the temple of the Lord, the priests stood in their apparel with trumpets, and the Levites, the sons of Asaph, with cymbals, to praise the Lord, according to the ordinance of David king of Israel. (Ezra 3:10); Everyone of the builders had his sword girded at his side as he built. And the one who sounded the trumpet was beside me. (Nehemiah 4:18)

The Watchman’s Responsibility:

In the Book of Ezekiel chapter 3: versus 33 thru 36, the Lord outlines the watchman’s responsibility to warn the people of the “sword coming upon the land,” by blowing the trumpet (which this also means using his mouth like as a verbal trumpet by speaking and alerting of the dangers that are coming).  It also includes the ramifications to the Watchman if he/she fails to warn people if it is within his ability to do so:

  • when he sees the sword coming upon the land, if he blows the trumpet and warns the people, (Ezekiel 3:33)
  • then whoever hears the sound of the trumpet and does not take warning, if the sword comes and takes him away, his blood shall be on his own head. (Ezekiel 3:34)
  • He heard the sound of the trumpet, but did not take warning; his blood shall be upon himself. But he who takes warning will save his life. (Ezekiel 3:35)
  • But if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet, and the people are not warned, and the sword comes and takes any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood I will require at the watchman’s hand.’ (Ezekiel 3:36)

Prophesying the return of the Lord with the blowing of trumpets:

In the Books of  Hosea, Joel, Matthew, 1 Corinthians and 1 Thessalonians it was prophesied or foretold the return of the Lord with the blowing of the trumpets:

  • Set the trumpet to your mouth! He shall come like an eagle against the house of the Lord, Because they have transgressed My covenant And rebelled against My law. (Hosea 8:1)
  • Blow the trumpet in Zion, And sound an alarm in My holy mountain! Let all the inhabitants of the land tremble; For the day of the Lord is coming, For it is at hand: (Joel 2:1)
  • And He will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other. (Matthew 24:31)
  • in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. (1 Corinthians 15:52)
  • For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. (1 Thessalonians 4:16)

Angels and the Seven Trumpets in the Book of Revelation:

Perhaps the most stunning use of the trumpets is in the Book of Revelation.  Seven Angels are used blowing seven trumpets sounding the signal to cause devastation effecting God’s judgments of wrath upon the earth:

  • And I saw the seven angels who stand before God, and to them were given seven trumpets. (Revelation 8:2)
  • So the seven angels who had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound. (Revelation 8:6)
  1. [ First Trumpet: Vegetation Struck ] The first angel sounded: And hail and fire followed, mingled with blood, and they were thrown to the earth. And a third of the trees were burned up, and all green grass was burned up. (Revelation 8:7)
  2. [ Second Trumpet: The Seas Struck ] Then the second angel sounded: And something like a great mountain burning with fire was thrown into the sea, and a third of the sea became blood. (Revelation 8:8)
  3. [ Third Trumpet: The Waters Struck ] Then the third angel sounded: And a great star fell from heaven, burning like a torch, and it fell on a third of the rivers and on the springs of water. (Revelation 8:10)
  4. [ Fourth Trumpet: The Heavens Struck ] Then the fourth angel sounded: And a third of the sun was struck, a third of the moon, and a third of the stars, so that a third of them were darkened. A third of the day did not shine, and likewise the night. (Revelation 8:12)
  5. [ Fifth Trumpet: The Locusts from the Bottomless Pit ] Then the fifth angel sounded: And I saw a star fallen from heaven to the earth. To him was given the key to the bottomless pit. (Revelation 9:1)
  6. [ Sixth Trumpet: The Angels from the Euphrates ] Then the sixth angel sounded: And I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before God, saying to the sixth angel who had the trumpet, “Release the four angels who are bound at the great river Euphrates.” (Revelation 9:13-14)
  7. [ Seventh Trumpet: The Kingdom Proclaimed ] Then the seventh angel sounded: And there were loud voices in heaven, saying, “The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever!” (Revelation 11:15)

Strange Trumpet Sounds – Bible Prophecy?

by (James L. Paris)

  • God has gone up with a shout, The Lord with the sound of a trumpet. (Psalm 47:5)

Is God trying to get our attention using trumpets, the strange sounds in the sky, which could be  sounding the alarm from His holy mountain?

note:  Unless otherwise noted, all scriptures are from the New King James Bible.

Anointing the Most Holy, the Ark of the Covenant

Relief, Auch Cathedral, France: the Ark of the Covenant. (Photo credit: Wikipedia)

“Seventy weeks are determined For your people and for your holy city, To finish the transgression, To make an end of sins, To make reconciliation for iniquity, To bring in everlasting righteousness, To seal up vision and prophecy, And to anoint the Most Holy. (Daniel 9:24)

The Most Holy,  the Mercy Seat of the Ark of the Covenant.

For centuries it was thought that the Ark of the Covenant was “lost,” or its physical location unknown to the world.

One theory was that the Ark had been sent to Ethiopia for safekeeping; however, in the same vein of thought another theory is that the Ark had been duplicated and known to be in Ethiopia because Queen Sheba, who had an affair with King Solomon and had borne his child, was given the duplicate as a memorial of the relationship.

That story in Ethiopia is so fascinating.  Kings, noblemen of nations, and even Queen Victoria of Great Britain was made privy to the place and had visited the sacred site.

Here’s  a review of the scriptures about the Ark of the Covenant with its Mercy Seat as decreed by God:

  • “You shall make a mercy-seat of pure gold; two and a half cubits shall be its length and a cubit and a half its width. (Exodus 25:17)
  • And you shall make two cherubim of gold; of hammered work you shall make them at the two ends of the mercy-seat. (Exodus 25:18)
  • Make one cherub at one end, and the other cherub at the other end; you shall make the cherubim at the two ends of it of one piece with the mercy-seat. (Exodus 25:19)
  • And the cherubim shall stretch out their wings above, covering the mercy-seat with their wings, and they shall face one another; the faces of the cherubim shall be toward the mercy-seat. (Exodus 25:20)
  • You shall put the mercy-seat on top of the ark, and in the ark you shall put the Testimony that I will give you. (Exodus 25:21)
  • And there I will meet with you, and I will speak with you from above the mercy-seat, from between the two cherubim which are on the ark of the Testimony, about everything which I will give you in commandment to the children of Israel. (Exodus 25:22)
  • And you shall hang the veil from the clasps. Then you shall bring the ark of the Testimony in there, behind the veil. The veil shall be a divider for you between the holy place and the Most Holy. (Exodus 26:33)
  • You shall put the mercy-seat upon the ark of the Testimony in the Most Holy. (Exodus 26:34)

As far as theories go, they’re fascinating and some with really great evidence to support them.

Journeying with the Father is an adventure.  It means traveling from step to step, sometimes moment by moment.  If it seems that boredom wants to step in and if you’re a child of the Most High God, then He is sure to keep your interest going.

Mine is in high gear now as I reviewed “findings” from adventurer and biblical archaeologist, Ron Wyatt.

Ronald Eldon Wyatt (1933 – August 4, 1999) was an adventurer and former nurse anesthetist noted for advocating the Durupınar site as the site of Noah’s Ark, among other Bible-related pseudoarchaeology. His claims were dismissed by scientists, historians, biblical scholars, and even by leaders in his own Seventh-day Adventist Church, but his work continued to have a following among some fundamentalists and evangelical Christians.  (source: Ron Wyatt Wikipedia)

I’m not here to advocate neither against or for the Seventh-day Adventist Church theology, only Mr. Wyatt’s archaeological discoveries:  Noah’s Ark, Sodom-Gomorrah, the Red Sea Crossings, Mt. Sinai, and Ark of the Covenant.

Mr. Wyatt was known to be a humble, God-loving man who spent his entire life excavating God’s treasures.  Known YouTube videos show him as a sincere person, who always prayed for God’s will to be done.

“By the time of his death on August 4, 1999, his claimed discoveries included:

  • Noah’s Ark (the Durupınar site, located 18.25 miles south of Mount Ararat
  • Anchor stones (or drogue stones) used by Noah on the Ark
  • The post-flood house, grave markers and tombs of Noah and his wife
  • The location of Sodom and Gomorrah and the other Cities of the Plain: Zoar, Zeboim and Admah
  • Sulfur/brimstone balls from the ashen remains of Sodom and Gomorrah.
  • The Tower of Babel site (in southern Turkey)
  • How the Egyptians may have built the pyramids.
  • The site of the Israelites’ crossing of the Red Sea (located in the Gulf of Aqaba)
  • Chariot wheels and other relics of the army of Pharaoh at the bottom of the Red Sea
  • The site of the biblical Mt. Sinai (in Saudi Arabia at Jabal al Lawz)
  • A chamber at the end of a maze of tunnels under Jerusalem containing artifacts from Solomon’s Temple
  • The site of the Crucifixion of Jesus
  • Christ’s blood, dripped onto the Mercy seat of the Ark of the Covenant beneath the Crucifixion site.
  • Burial pots off the coast of Ashkelon” (source: wikipedia)

I have viewed the Noah’s Ark and the Ark of the Covenant DVD by Mr. Wyatt and have found them intriguing and well worth mentioning.

Words cannot describe better than Mr. Wyatt’s description in finding  the Ark of the Covenant:

Revealing God’s Treasure – Ark of the Covenant

Christ’s sinless blood flowing from his pierced, broken body, drenching down the cross, dripping through the ripped rock (crack) for 20 ft, onto the Mercy Seat of the Ark of the Covenant  housed in Jeremiah’s Grotto, ratifying the Old Testament to the New Testament.  What a joy! What a revelation!

Just believe.  I do.

There is a four series DVD which includes Noah’s Ark, Red Sea Crossing, Sodom & Gomorrah, Mt. Sinai, and the Ark of the Covenant all God’s Treasures, available for purchase at Amazon.  It makes for a great witnessing tool for you, your family, your friends, your church or strangers that God may want you to gift this invaluable information to bear witness and strengthen a relationship to Jesus Christ:

A Living Sanctuary

“Then have them make a sanctuary for me, and I will dwell among them.” (Exodus 25:8)

A sanctuary is also a temple–dedicated to the service of and a house of worship of a deity or deities and in this case worshiping the holy God in Heaven:

1. in Judaism:

  • a.  the Israelite temple at Jerusalem, especially the holy of holies
  • b. the tabernacle in which the Ark of the Covenant was enshrined during the wanderings of the Israelites
2. an especially holy place in a physical temple or church building.
3. the part of a church around the altar; the chancel.
4. a church or other sacred place where fugitives were formerly entitled to immunity from arrest.
The sanctuary is identified with sacredness/holy:
Sacred/holy (sin free):
Associated with God or with a deity, sacred.  Endowed with or invested in extreme purity or sublimity; devout, godly, virtuous
adj
1. exclusively devoted to a deity or to some religious ceremony or use; holy; consecrated
2. worthy of or regarded with reverence, awe, or respect
3. protected by superstition or piety from irreligious actions
4. connected with or intended for religious use: sacred music
5. dedicated to; in honor of
from Latin sacrāre  to set apart as holy, from sacer  holy
God sets the standards for living a holy, sacred life in His sanctuary:
  • “Do not come any closer,” God said. “Take off your sandals, for the place where you are standing is holy ground.” (Exodus 3:5)
  • I am the LORD your God; consecrate yourselves and be holy, because I am holy. Do not make yourselves unclean by any creature that moves along the ground.” (Leviticus 11:44)
  • “Then the Lord said to him, ‘Take off your sandals, for the place where you are standing is holy ground.’ ” (Acts 7:33)
However, man, because of  his spiritual blindness and unbridled sin, breaks the relationship with God, by worshiping other gods: ie, practicing  abortion of  innocent children He created, the prophets becoming unprincipled, and marrying women who worship other gods:
  • On the very day they sacrificed their children to their idols, they entered my sanctuary and desecrated it. That is what they did in my house (Ezekiel 23:29)
  • Her prophets are unprincipled; they are treacherous people. Her priests profane the sanctuary and do violence to the law. (Zephaniah 3:4)
  • Judah has been unfaithful. A detestable thing has been committed in Israel and in Jerusalem: Judah has desecrated the sanctuary the LORD loves by marrying women who worship a foreign god.  (Malachi 2:11)
  • They trample on the heads of the poor as on the dust of the ground and deny justice to the oppressed. Father and son use the same girl and so profane my holy name. (Amos 2:7)

The Lord God is not deaf; He hears and knows all that is taking place with man:

  • 19 “The LORD looked down from His sanctuary on high  from heaven He viewed the earth 20 to hear the groans of the prisoners  and release those condemned to death.” 21 So the name of the LORD will be declared in Zion and His praise in Jerusalem 22 when the people and the kingdoms assemble to worship the LORD.  (Psalm 102:19-21)
As the sanctuary, the temple of the Lord was the physical church (the tent building) housing the Ark of the Covenant the holy of holies,  today, Jesus Christ is our spiritual sanctuary–our holy of holies:
  • For Christ did not enter a sanctuary made with human hands that was only a copy of the true one; he entered heaven itself, now to appear for us in God’s presence.  (Hebrews 9:24)
Lastly,  there is properly “no sanctuary” for God and the Lamb “are the sanctuary” (“temple”), hallowed by His Divine Presence:
  •  22 I did not see a temple in the city, because the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple. (Revelation 21:22)
Because the word of the Lord is truth, believe He did die for you at the cross to set you free from your sins; make Him your living sanctuary.
Worship the Lord, Jesus Christ.  Accept Him into your heart. Sanctify, dedicate yourself to the Lord Jesus. Decree and declare to yourself and to others that Jesus Christ died and rose again on that 3rd fateful day, to rule and reign forever in righteousness.
Lord Prepare Me To Be A Sanctuary

Blessings,

Days of Elijah

The Master Weaver

And when she could no longer hide him, she took for him an ark of bulrushes, and daubed it with slime and with pitch, and put the child therein; and she laid it in the flags by the river’s brink. (Exodus 2:3)

Moses, Baby in the Basket

Moses, Baby in the Basket

Moses, a Hebrew,  was chosen by Father God to lead the Hebrews, the Nation of Israel, out of Egypt.

His mother and father were from the House of Levi (priests).  By spiritual inheritance he was ordained a Priest (to lead, to teach the Word of the Lord God) as was with his parents.

Definitely, his entry into this world wasn’t so secure.

A new Pharoah from the land of Egypt, who did not know Joseph, feared the Hebrews:

  • Come on, let us deal wisely with them; lest they multiply, and it come to pass, that, when there falleth out any war, they join also unto our enemies, and fight against us, and so get them up out of the land.  Therefore they did set over them taskmasters to afflict them with their burdens. And they built for Pharaoh treasure cities, Pithom and Ramses. But the more they afflicted them, the more they multiplied and grew. And they were grieved because of the children of Israel.” (Exodus 1:10,11,12).
  • And the Egyptians made the children of Israel to serve with rigor:  And they made their lives bitter with hard bondage, in mortar, and in brick, and in all manner of service in the field: all their service, wherein they made them serve, was with rigor. (Exodus 1:13,14)
  • And the king of Egypt spake to the Hebrew midwives, of which the name of the one was Shiphrah, and the name of the other Puah:And he said, When ye do the office of a midwife to the Hebrew women, and see them upon the stools; if it be a son, then ye shall kill him: but if it be a daughter, then she shall live. (Exodus 1:15,16)

Pretty unnerving to be conceived and death is waiting on the horizon because he is a male and a Hebrew.  But with God Almighty, nothing is impossible.

  • And when she could no longer hide him, she took for him an ark of bulrushes, and daubed it with slime and with pitch, and put the child therein; and she laid it in the flags by the river’s brink. (Exodus 2:3)

My concept is the basket that Moses’ mother and father weaved to place him securely into his journey down the Nile River not knowing what the child’s future would be, but trusting God for his destiny.

There is a master plan in progress to create this very special basket.  This basket must be so secure (to avoid sinking) that only the best of the best materials would be used.  This is one art craft that was of a primary importance which sustains their livelihood in the market place.

Can you picture Moses parents collaborating, sitting there, making a list of things to do and do not,  and thinking about the materials that it would take and how much it would cost, to guard their gorgeous bouncing baby boy?

  • It must be the right oval size, with proper dimensions;
  • The base of the basket must be solid, incredibly strong to avoid tipping over into the river.
  • How high should the sides be? How many rows will it take to bring it to just it’s right height?
  • Make the knots tight enough to keep the basket from unraveling and preventing the river water from seeping into the basket;
  • Don’t forget, remember the canopy to shield the child’s eyes from the blazing sun;
  • Must have thoroughly dried wide grasses familiar to the terrain, at a length to create the reeds;
  • It must be strong enough able to carry the weight of a baby and the planned blankets to keep him warm at night;
  • The texture of the reeds must be soft enough to the touch for when the baby waves his hands and touches the sides;
  • The color is important: must blend and camouflage into the banks of the river and fields;
  • Include herbal leaves to soothe the baby from crying;
  • And one last thought, fill a flask with warm fresh milk so the person who finds the baby will be able to nurse it properly.

Could it be that they used the same precision building formula as Noah did to create the Ark–God’s divine instructions?

Can you imagine the anxiety creeping into Moses’ mother and father wondering if they had not overlooked any detail in creating this basket of life, to avoid any potential harm to their child, Moses?

After all, by design, this basket was chosen and I believe God inspired this family to create it carefully showing off their skilled craftsmanship.  Moses had to live.  God  the Master Weaver, chose him to lead His people out of Egyptian bondage.

No detail goes unnoticed by God, our Master Weaver.  I can hear him whisper into Moses’ father’s spiritual ear, “Don’t forget the handles.”  “They must cover the span of the basket to the wide brim for easy lifting.”  “This basket is carrying Israel’s future.”

*****

And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.  (Luke 2:7)

Anyone notice that this is Luke Chapter 2 (as was Exodus Chapter 2 for Moses)?

Here we have one very special manger, wrapped in holiness.  This manger (a box or trough in a stable or barn from which horses or cattle eat) is covered in dried straw (cut and dried to use as fodder for animals).

The Holy Manger

The Holy Manger

straw definition:
1.  a single stalk or stem, especially of certain species of grain, chiefly wheat, rye, oats, and barley.
2.  a mass of such stalks, especially after drying and threshing, used as fodder.
3.  material, fibers, etc., made from such stalks, as used for making hats or baskets.

Straw is dry and brittle, prickly to the touch.  Water to soften the edges is unavailable.

Is  straw symbolic to dryness and Jesus who is representative of  “if anyone thirst,”  is our water, to soften the edge of a hard life?

I believe this manger was no less  designed by the “Master Weaver” twisting and turning the fabric of life into a story,  a humble beginning for the one and only Holy Son of the Most High God.

Jesus Christ, too, had to journey down the river of life for mankind.  He, too, was carefully chosen to deliver “His people” from earthly bondage.

I can picture the Virgin Mary and Joseph somewhat dismayed at the surroundings but immediately set out to improve it.  Having in their possession, they whipped out a lovely woven blanket, a Tallit, (Heb. Tallith) to warm the child.  This would shield Him from the cold harsh straw.

The wooden box is Jesus’ manger throne, it is only temporary.  But it’s used with a special type of wood cut into proportions chosen specifically for this day, to bear this child’s weight.  It was high enough for Mary and Joseph to bend over and coo in contentment, giving thanks to the Almighty God.  They touched him tenderly, counting his toes and fingers as most parents do, oblivious to His final tortuous destiny.

The wood also represents the cross that one day Jesus would be hung from (the trunks or main stems of trees as suitable for architectural and other purposes; timber or lumber).

I can hear the Lord God whisper in both the Virgin Mary and Joseph’s spiritual ear, “This is My Son’s Manger Throne, holding the future of the world.”

But for this one night, despite the cold dry straw, the wooden box–the manger throne, the stench of the animals around them, they celebrated the birth of their child, Jesus Christ.

O Holy Night!  What a night to revere and this one special night making its way down into generations in all it’s wonderment!

The Adoration of the Child

The Adoration of the Child

Jesus Christ, too, would find his parents fleeing to save his life from certain death at the hands of the then reigning King Herod who set out to kill the Hebrew children from Nation of Israel.

The Master Weaver, ever mindful, ever designing to full fill His purpose!  What a God of detail, of power and might, to the point that this story will have its own final ending in this world as we know it.

Two men, Moses and Jesus Christ:  Moses raised in the House of  Pharoah and his throne, in all it’s richness and Jesus Christ, leaving Heaven’s throne and it’s riches to come to earth, born in a cold stable, inheriting a manger throne, both chosen by Father God, each sharing similarities, both willing to do “His” will to full fill “His” purpose.

Have you made your heart Jesus Christ/God’s throne?
