Jesus Christ & The Cross, A Living Hope

Hope

• Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,” (1 Peter 1:3)

Writing in bible prophecy and “seeing” the events that are unfolding before my eyes has really taken a hold on me in a way I’ve never known before.

We are to sound the alarm when things are not as though they seem.  People are walking in their everyday “normalcy,” yet we’re on the very edge of WW III.  I’ve written articles trying to educate people to what’s coming but I’m not really sure that it’s being understood.

The world is coming into a “New World Order” and things will not stay as we know them.  Are people really that blind?

“Oh my Lord!” strikes at my heart in exasperation.  So many people do understand what is trying to take place but are unsure what to do about it.  I’ve said pray, sign petitions — take a stand against evil and the tyranny looming over us.

Then the Lord came to my rescue–He said “Jesus Christ: A Living Hope.”  So I breathe a sigh because my eyes have been focused on gloomy, dreary, world events and not enough on the answer, “Jesus Christ.”

• Behold, the eye of the LORD is on those who fear Him, On those who hope in His mercy, (Psalm 33:18)

• Why are you cast down, O my soul? And why are you disquieted within me? Hope in God, for I shall yet praise Him For the help of His countenance.  (Psalm 42:5)

• O Israel, hope in the LORD; For with the LORD there is mercy, And with Him is abundant redemption.  (Psalm 130:7)

• The LORD takes pleasure in those who fear Him, In those who hope in His mercy.  (Psalm 147:11)

• And I will wait on the LORD, Who hides His face from the house of Jacob; And I will hope in Him. (Isaiah 8:17)

• Indeed, any hope of overcoming him is false; Shall one not be overwhelmed at the sight of him? (Job 41:9)

• “The LORD is my portion,” says my soul, “Therefore I hope in Him!” (Lamentations 3:24)

• …so that they should seek the Lord, in the hope that they might grope for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us; (Acts 17:27)

• And again, Isaiah says: “There shall be a root of Jesse; And He who shall rise to reign over the Gentiles, In Him the Gentiles shall hope.” (Romans 15:12)

• who through Him believe in God, who raised Him from the dead and gave Him glory, so that your faith and hope are in God. (1 Peter 1:21)

• And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure. (1 John 3:3)

Jesus, Hope of the Nations

I have said have hope in the One who made us; stand up and fight, pray, sign petitions to protect our God-given rights (at ACLJ.org). With that in mind, yesterday, one item came to my attention:   Ground Zero Cross, our symbol of hope, is in jeopardy:

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. (Jeremiah 29:11)

NWO: Are You Prepared?

• all the people rejoiced that God had prepared the people, since the events took place so suddenly. (2 Chronicles 29:36)

Strait of Hormutz

I recently read a blog where the author states he visits different portions of the United States and has found that there are so many citizens highly concerned over the current sinister events or “end times” taking place in the United States, particularly the massing of armada ships in the Strait of Hormutz.

I note that they were almost resigned to allowing events control their lives,  a very depressing scenario.

Global events are rapidly accelerating and we’re at the cusp of WW III as a result of unjust laws.

The wheels are in motion, financial collapse is looming too close for comfort–US currency will be no more as we know it very soon.

Nations have  naval ships stationed at the Strait of Hormutz in the Persian Gulf waiting for their final orders before firing their weapons.

Civil unrest is expected to break loose in the United States, igniting Martial Law, and likely in other countries as the situation worsens.

Laws in the United States have been implemented that will forever change the normal lives of the average citizen, stripping our rights–in the name of the government, the New World Order (Agenda 21).

Below is my response to this despondency:

“Jesus fought long before he died…

”Then Jesus went into the temple of God and drove out all those who bought and sold in the temple, and overturned the tables of the money changers and the seats of those who sold doves.” (Matthew 21:12)

So, too, must we continue to fight the good fight that the Lord started.  If we don’t like something evil, do something about it.  Stand up and fight.  Sign petitions, pray, approach the blind with the good news, change the status of the underprivileged.  Do something–educate the people.

Stand against tyranny, after all our forefathers stood against tyranny, so must we.

We must count for something and not just complain.  So, too, must we fight before we die.

Hope to hear Him say, “Well done my good and faithful servant.”

Are we truly His “servants?”

I pray and plead the Blood of the Lamb daily over myself, my family and the United States.   I’d like to believe that there are others who are doing the same.

Perhaps with deluge of prayer into God’s throne room will be enough to avert the upcoming disastrous events.

Uprising Texas Students Against RFID Tracking Card

  “and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.” (Revelation 13:17)

• “Then a third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, “If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives his mark on his forehead or on his hand, ¹⁰ he himself shall also drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out full strength into the cup of His indignation. He shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb. ¹¹ And the smoke of their torment ascends forever and ever; and they have no rest day or night, who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name.” (Revelation 14:9-11)

Creating a storm in Texas are students in Austin that has expanded to two San Antonio schools that have been introduced to the mandatory RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) Tracking Card, with an embedded microchip purportedly to be used with the goal of improving school attendance  becoming effective September, 2012.

As an incentive, the district will be awarded $2 million in federal funds from the government.

This process is the same as a prisoner convicted of a crime who has to wear an ankle bracelet to monitor his whereabouts 24/7 and has to report to a parole officer.

The student RFID Card will continue to work even after leaving the school premises which is an invasion of their privacy.

The requirement has been met with great resistance by these students who are organizing to protest the wearing of these cards.

Enter the human microchip implant:

• “A human microchip implant is an integrated circuit device or RFID transponder encased in silicate glass and implanted in the body of a human being. A subdermal implant typically contains a unique ID number that can be linked to information contained in an external database, such as personal identification, medical history, medications, allergies, and contact information.” “… Theoretically, a GPS-enabled chip could one day make it possible for individuals to be physically located by latitude, longitude, altitude, speed, and direction of movement.” (source: Wikipedia)

HB 3200 attempted to set up the National Medical Device Registry (which included the  implementation of the human microchip) failed passage and gave way to HB 3962 November 2009, opening the door to the final version for health care reform called the Patient Protection and Affordable Health Care Act on December 24, 2009.

I mention this simply because a voice was raised against the implementation of  the bill which included a mandatory microchip with its transponder for tracking and surveillance.

With the RFID tracking card, it means just another alternative way to gain control of citizens and a mighty voice has to again be raised.

Withholding medical benefits which was addressed in the HR 3200 version from people unless a chip was implemented is just downright scary to me and I’m not really sure that the concept won’t creep up again.

This is simply another step into the New World Order to control and watch movement–tracking people.

Peace That Surpasses All Understanding

• “…and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” (Phil 4:7)

I visited with out-of-town family members recently and we started to reminisce, particularly about a young, vibrant person who at about 23 years of age,  became a victim of  a drunk driving, severe auto accident in the prime of her life, leaving one person dead, one person fully untouched physically,  and “L”  now completely physically and brain-damaged for about the past 20+ years.

“L” was a straight “A” student at University of  Texas  in Austin, Texas,

majoring in mathematics; she was a page at the Texas State Capital Bldg. in the Senate looking forward to life’s challenges and fulfilling her destiny.

Out of family privacy, she will not be named for this article but I will refer to her as “L.”

After years of pain and struggles for medical and physical treatment, “L” now lives in a special facility for brain-damaged adults.

Her mom was particularly amazed as she spoke about her daughter, saying “I don’t understand it, and I know the bible speaks about “peace that surpasses all understanding,” but when  “L” speaks, she speaks with total peace.  “L,” when she speaks swears she’s God‘s angel on earth.  How?  Where and how does this peace cover her?  Given her circumstances, I don’t understand it!”

I sat listening to her speak and I merely nodded in silence.  Then I spoke:

“You know, a few days ago I was weighed down with issues which I call crap.  As I bathed I spoke with the Lord praying for relief.  Then suddenly, He pulled a memory from long ago:

“L” was about 8-9 years old and we had visited a small zoo not far from where we lived, housing peacocks, rabbits, … the usual animals, and lions.  I was standing directly next to a particular lion cage, and the next thing I hear is the loudest “ROAR” from the lion simultaneously hitting the cage.  I instinctively remembered jumping and screaming my heart out in terror!’

“L” with her arms flailing in space and with all speed her little legs could carry her came running up to me as well as the rest of the family concerned over my screaming.  “L”  was  yelling ‘What’s wrong Tia?’ and quickly assessing the situation and my stuttering, she matter of factly stated: ‘Tia, you scared the lion!  The lion is blind!’

Blinking rapidly, feeling quite helpless and speechless, I turned and looked at the lion–sure enough the lion was quite agitated and yes, the lion was blind!

Realizing my mistake, and the lion is not charging at me, all I could feebly mutter was ‘I guess I thought I was in Africa!’  Everyone completely broke out laughing at me.’

I laughed at the Lord for bringing this memory to me because I certainly felt foolish but most of all, the memory,  coated with love and affection, broke the weight of heaviness from me.”

As I relived this memory to “L’s” mom, everyone around the table laughed.  It brought the needed relief from the awkwardness of the pain of loss revisiting.

Only God can give us the peace that surpasses all understanding, including pulling long ago memories from days where innocence ruled and reigned.

I believe “L” is now experiencing God’s “peace that surpasses all understanding” because she is under His covering, His protection, His love, His provision for her welfare.  When she speaks about God, she speaks with conviction and encourages everyone to listen to God.

Given her now limited  abilities “L” is way ahead spiritually over  anyone who has failed to take time out to listen to God, to turn and go His way.

We go through storms of destruction but as long as we focus on God,  He will guide us out into better times.

Honor The Lord Thy God

Honor The Lord Thy God

HONOR (Hebr. “kabod”; Aramaic, “yeḳar”; in A. V. used also as translation of “hadar”):  Either the distinction or excellence manifested by a man, or the mark of distinction accorded to him. “Kabod,” when a manifestation of God, is translated “glory” (Ex. xvi. 10, and elsewhere).*

The dictionary defines  Honor as fairness (the absence of deceit or fraud), personal integrity, reverence, high respect, creditable courteous regard, meritorious in rank, high public esteem, fame, the glory to worship (due to God).

Certainly God is due His Honor and more for all that He has done for you (and for me).

Listed below are but a few ways to Honor the Lord, Thy God of your own free will:

Honor The Lord With You:

• …”and that He will set you high above all nations which He has made, in praise, in name, and in honor, and that you may be a holy people to the LORD your God, just as He has spoken.” (Deuteronomy 26:19)
• From man to God:  “Both riches and honor come from You,  And You reign over all.  In Your hand is power and might;  In Your hand it is to make great  And to give strength to all.” (1 Chronicles 29:12)

Honor The Lord With Sacrificial Offerings:

• Why do you kick at My sacrifice and My offering which I have commanded in My dwelling place, and honor your sons more than Me, to make yourselves fat with the best of all the offerings of Israel My people?’ (1 Samuel 2:29)

Honor The Lord And He Will Honor You (Hold You In High Esteem):

• …for those who honor Me I will honor,… (1 Samuel 2:30);
• For You have made him a little lower than the angels, And You have crowned him with glory and honor. (Psalm 8:5); and,
• His glory is great in Your salvation; Honor and majesty You have placed upon him. (Psalm 21:5)

Honor The Lord With Your Possessions:

• Honor the LORD with your possessions, And with the first fruits of all your increase;  So your barns will be filled with plenty,  And your vats will overflow with new wine. (Proverbs 3:9-10)

Honor The Lord With Your Personal And Professional Time:

• “If you turn away your foot from the Sabbath, From doing your pleasure on My holy day, And call the Sabbath a delight, The holy day of the LORD honorable, And shall honor Him, not doing your own ways, Nor finding your own pleasure, Nor speaking your own words, (Isaiah 58:13); and,
• “A son honors his father, And a servant his master. If then I am the Father, Where is My honor? And if I am a Master, Where is My reverence? Says the LORD of hosts To you priests who despise My name. Yet you say, ‘In what way have we despised Your name?’ (Malachi 1:6)

Honor The Lord For His Worthiness:

• Honor and majesty are before Him; Strength and gladness are in His place. (1 Chronicles 16:27);
• Bless the LORD, O my soul! O LORD my God, You are very great: You are clothed with honor and majesty, (Psalm 104:1);
• “You are worthy, O Lord, To receive glory and honor and power; For You created all things, And by Your will they exist and were created.” (Revelation 4:11);
• And every creature which is in heaven and on the earth and under the earth and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, I heard saying: “Blessing and honor and glory and power Be to Him who sits on the throne, And to the Lamb, forever and ever!” (Revelation 5:13); and,
• After these things I heard a loud voice of a great multitude in heaven, saying, “Alleluia! Salvation and glory and honor and power belong to the Lord our God!  (Revelation 19:1)

Note:   Short change the Lord and you will get yourself short-changed in strength, offerings (His blessings to you), length of days, honor, possessions, time, and most of all your own worthiness.

• Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; ⁶ In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths. (Proverbs 3:5-6)

Occasionally also when predicated of man (Ps. lxii. 7; Prov. iii. 35); but when coupled with “hod” (= “glory”) it is rendered “honor” (Ps. xxix. 2; Mal. i. 6). From God comes honor to man (I Chron. xxix. 12; Ps. viii. 6 [A. V. 5]; I Kings iii. 13; Dan. v. 18). Honor comes through wisdom (Prov. iii. 16, iv. 8) and fear of the Lord (ib. xxii. 4). “Before honor is humility” (Prov. xv. 33, xviii. 12); the humble in spirit upholds it (Prov. xxix. 33). Honor is due to God (Prov. iii. 9; Mal. i. 6; comp.
